WHO I AM

My name is PJ Glasser and I'm from Rockville, Maryland. I graduated from the University of Alabama with a bachelor's degree in communications and information sciences.  I'm a play-by-play broadcaster, currently calling multiple sports for George Washington University including soccer, basketball, baseball, volleyball, lacrosse, and softball on ESPN Plus. I've also had experience doing play-by-play for the Alabama men's basketball team and women's volleyball team. For the past three years I have been the Director of Broadcasting for the Capitol Hoops Summer League at DeMatha. I broadcasted nearly 100 games and interviewed a variety of players and coaches. Prior to that, for the past 2 summers I broadcasted games for the Bethesda Big Train summer collegiate baseball team in the Cal Ripken Collegiate baseball league.

Along with calling games i've also had experience working in radio and TV. While at Alabama, I worked at the school radio station, WVUA-FM 90.7 for 3 years. At the station, I helped co-host shows like the "Student Section" and the "Run Down" recapping the week in sports. Currently, I work at NBC Sports Washington as a Production Assistant helping to create fonts and graphics for the Capitals, Wizards, and Washington Football Team pre and post game shows. Also, I work for NBC Universal and the BETQL Network as a sports betting researcher. I appear on two of the weekend shows at BetQL doing live updates. Lastly, i'm co-host of a very successful sports podcast called "Glass of Joe". We have had some fantastic guests from ESPN including Mike Greenberg, Tim Kurkjian, Sean McDonough, and Joe Lunardi, to former and current athletes like Minkah Fitzpatrick, Dan Orlovsky, and Adrian Dantley to name a few.
